The Bucks ran their winning streak to an impressive 8 games by ending another game early. This time the Bucks pounded out 10 hits and 2 more homers, one, a grand slam by Adam Stewart in the 2nd, and another a pinch hit homer by Spencer Payne in the 4th. Stewart’s was his first on the year, while it was home run two for Payne. Dan Dietrich pitched another solid game, allowing 1 earned run and 2 hits while striking out 7. Dietrich’s effort, his third win of the season put his ERA at 1.02 and earned him co-conference pitcher of the week for the second consecutive week. Steve Bzomowski once again hit well, going 2-2 with 2 runs, 2 rbi, and a walk. Zach Pierson scored 3 runs and Jon Likavec went 2-2 with 2 2B. Stewart added 5 more RBI to his monster weekend. For his efforts, Stewart earned conference player of the week.
