OSU’s bats finally came alive as they put 5 runs on the board before an out was recorded. Steve Bzomowski, Spencer Payne, Ryan Noward, Adam Stewart, Zach Pierson, Justin Wendling, and EJ Strittmatter all had multiple hit games. Ryan Noward hit a 3 run homer to go with his 6 rbi and Steve Bzomowski added 3 rbi to the cause. EJ Strittmatter pitched 3 scoreless innings to earn the victory, with Ryan Owens, Mike Salzarulo, and Kyle Schneider all pitching well in relief for the Bucks. Salzarulo faced the minimum of 9 hitters in 3 innings, striking out five. Schneider also struck out the side in the ninth to seal the deal. The Bucks pounded out 18 hits total.
