Behind a superb performance from senior hurler Jeremy Morris, the OSU Club Baseball team completed the doubleheader sweep of the Dayton Flyers, 5-2.
Morris struck out nine batters in five innings of work to earn his second win of 2003. He allowed only two hits and did not surrender a walk. For the second straight game, sophomore Adam Stewart provided two singles to lead the Buckeyes at the plate. Meanwhile, juniors All-American Jon Likavec and Jason Goodman both made outstanding defensive plays to stave off potential UD rallies.
The win marks the club’s sixth straight triumph since its season opening loss to Ohio University.
