Down 9-8 heading into the top of the seventh, the Club Baseball Buckeyes rallied to hang a snowman on the host Miami(OH) RedHawks, winning game one of the crucial series 16-9. Junior All-American Jon Likavec’s one-out, three-run jack over the right field wall put the Bucks up for good in the dramatic final frame and contributed to OSU’s ridiculous offensive output of 16 runs and 18 hits (six for extra bases). Sophomore Adam Stewart led the way with four hits, while seniors Bryan Jewell and All-American Mark Loudon-Brown had three each.
