The Ohio State Club Baseball team punched its ticket to Bradenton, Florida for the 2003 NCBA World Series and claimed its third consecutive Great Lakes Conference Championship by downing the Bowling Green Falcons 6-2.
Senior Jeremy Morris picked up his fifth win of the season by allowing just one earned run over 5 1/3 innings of work, while sophomore Justin Wendling earned his first save by throwing a quality 1 2/3 to close.
Senior Ryan Noward’s two hits and three RBI led the way at the plate, while sophomore Adam Stewart scored two runs and swiped two bases.
The Buckeyes (19-6 overall) will now most likely face the 2002 NCBA Champion Aggies of Texas A&M.
