Jim Sadowski shut down the Buckeye bats with seven solid innings
yielding just one hit as the Nittany Lions downed the Buckeyes
4-1. Mike McDonough outdueled Sadowski through the first five
innings until he ran into trouble in the sixth. Josh Winfrey's
suicide squeeze scored Aaron Thompson for the game tying run.
Winfrey would then score the game winning run on Sandy
Sanderson's double. Ryan Noward had the lone Buckeye hit and RBI
with a triple in the first.
